The Adorata Newsletter is an act of shared devotion to the Divine Feminine. It is not a newsletter of religious or Catholic content, even though it may appear so at first glance. In Adorata, the Divine Feminine is represented in the tradition of the western world as Mary, the Universal Mother of us all. 

Out of our connection with Her, a new model of masculinity is born within us. It is a masculinity that retains its potency and power, but also remains strongly connected with the feminine, and is thereby able to act in the world, not only with robust and decisive action, but also with tenderness and caring wisdom. 

This new kind of masculinity provides us with an internal structure that allows us to sustain discipline, reach our goals, and complete our projects while respecting our need for rest and recuperation. This new kind of masculinity also protects us by creating boundaries to sustain our sense of identity when entering relationships, while allowing these boundaries to be flexible and appropriate, so that genuine intimacy can grow and deepen. It is a masculinity that creates structure without imprisoning the feminine.

We desperately need to establish this new masculinity for the survival of our world, which so far has been dominated by the destructive actions of patriarchy. Patriarchy embodies an old kind of masculinity which is controlling and disconnected from the feminine, and a feminine which is overpowered, subjugated, and forced to undermine the masculine in order to regain her freedom. This new masculinity, which collaborates with and listens to the wisdom of the feminine, must first inhabit our hearts and take root in the internal world of our own psyche before it can spread to the outer world of our society. 

Every human being, man or woman, is born out of the belly of a woman; similarly, on a spiritual and energetic level the new personal and collective archetype, the blueprint of the new masculine, must be born out of the heart and the beingness of our Divine Mother. 

Being connected, devoted, and at one with Her is the first step toward creating harmony, feeling a sense of belonging to life, and opening your heart to love. 

I hold you all in the heart of Mother Mary. Know that you are loved just because you exist.
